Roper Whitney’s M and PX Series mechanical shears combine simplicity and efficiency in their low-maintenance designs. The M Series handles up to 14 gauge materials, offering precision for lighter tasks, while the PX Series accommodates up to 10 gauge mild steel and comes in various cutting lengths for enhanced flexibility. Both series are built to last, ensuring reliable, high-quality performance for diverse sheet metal cutting needs.

PEXTO foot squaring shears are the industry’s most accurate. They are easy to operate and offer precise shearing, long life and dependability. All are provided with precise gauging and hold-downs for cutting accuracy. Maximum rated capacity is 16 gauge mild steel. No. 152 shears offer triple-action shearing which includes relief on both edges of both the fixed and moving blades. It eliminates blade-to-blade friction, provides “bite” to eliminate sheet movement under shearing stress and produces double penetration in the cutting action. This contributes to easier operation. The No. 152 will handle a 52″ sheet.

Roper Whitney’s hydraulic shears combine all of the features of our foot shears with the advantage and convenience of hydraulic operation. Our hydraulic shears are a productive addition to any shop.

The No. 4 shear with its standard blade is expressly designed to cut up to 2″ x 2″ x 1/4″ angle iron and produces a clean, burr-free cut every time.

Roper Whitney’s Radius Master is a must for every fabricating shop. It’s a hydraulically operated, self-contained unit for making radii in mild steel from 27 gauge up to 7 gauge without having to make blade adjustments and no setup. The Radius Master comes standard with 11 radii from 1/8″ to 1″ – 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, & 1″. Special size radii may also be ordered up to 3″ maximum radii. Specifications: Operated on 115 volts 1.0 amp and 80 psi shop air with safety foot switch as standard equipment.

Tennsmith's LM Series mechanical shears utilize a low maintenance design, couple with an array of standard features for an attractive combination of high value and solid preformance. The LM Series shears are standard with four-edge, high carbon, high chrome top and bottom blades, independent, self-leveling hold down feet with neoprene inserts, single, continuous and jog stroke cycles, motor reverse switch, precision-machined table with hand well, dual inch/metric inlaid bed scales and non-metalic gibs.

Tennsmith's squaring shears offer precision shearing and rugged construction at an affordable price. The shear frame, bed and cutter head assemblies are constructed of heavy-duty cast iron. The shear bed is machined and then surface ground to precision tolerances to ensure an accurate working surface. These shears feature triaction, high-carbon / high-chromium (HCHC) steel blades.

Tennsmith's power shears combine all of the features of our foot shears with the advantage and convenience of air or hydraulic operation. Tennsmith power shears are a productive addition to any shop. The air shears utilize heavy-duty, tie rod-type pneumatic cylinders, which provide up to 40 strokes per minute in capacity materials. All shears are standard, equipped with high-carbon / high-chromium (HCHC) blades.

The Haco hydraulic guillotine shears of the GSX range are driven by top mounted cylinders. Our long experience in the production of hydraulic guillotine shears guarantees a product of exceptional design and great efficiency. The fully open rear side provides the operator the possibility of easy removal or adapting different conveying systems to the machine. The all-welded interlocked construction makes the machine virtually indestructible. The GSX shears are well equipped and have as standard the SC200 controller.

The highlight of these machines is the THK Bearing Slide Rail for effortless one hand adjustments. There is also an easy to read scale and an adjustable top cutter, eliminating the need for shims. The unit comes with a 1 HP electric motor, 110-115V single phase. The cabinet is heavy gauge steel with a Hammertone Green Finish. These machines will hold tolerances of +/- .007 over an 8 foot distance.
