About Us

Founded in 2015 in Snohomish, Washington, Northwest Machinery has been the top choice in the pacific northwest for sales and service for all of your sheet metal fabrication machinery and tools.

After resigning from his former employer of 22 years, Mike Barnts (Owner) started Northwest Machinery. Working out of his home office, attending to service calls, and generating all the sales Northwest Machinery was growing quickly.

In 2017 Mike decided it was time to move out of the home office and into a space where Northwest Machinery could continue to flourish. By May of 2018 he built a shop/office on his property that became home for Northwest Machinery. He then began to hire on new employees being able to oversee and create the company we know today.
